ABOUT THE INTREPID MAGAZINE

The Intrepid Magazine is the official publication of the Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association and is published on a quarterly basis and distributed to over 11,000 Professional Fire Fighters across Ontario.

OPFFA President Emeritus, Patrick J. De Fazio, was appointed as the inaugural Editor of the Intrepid in 1992 and was responsible for getting the project off the ground and delivering fourteen years worth of outstanding issues, until the time of his retirement.

In May of 2006, Toronto Fire Fighter, James Coones was appointed to replace Pat De Fazio as the Editor. Together with President Fred LeBlanc and the OPFFA Executive Board, James took on the task of completely re-branding the Intrepid, changing the format and adding some unique new content sections.

The Intrepid magazine has now returned to full hardcopy mailing to all 11,000+ members, as of the Summer 2011 issue.

Please ensure that your mailing address that is on file with the OPFFA office is up to date in order to receive your copy.
