It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of retired Kingston Local 498 Member, John McGuirk on
There will be a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall, 849 Development Dr, off of Gardiner's Rd, at 11:00 am. This memorial will be followed by a reception at the Wartman Funeral Home, 980 Collin's Bay Rd at Taylor Kidd Blvd.
Fire fighters are invited to attend the Memorial and reception, however there not be any of the ceremony that is customarily associated with the LODD service. This is at the request of the family as this has been a difficult few months and they are planning a simple service. They do however welcome the attendance of fire fighters as they respect and honour the service that John made to the department and community.
