Funeral Information for Pte. Kevin McKay, Son of Toronto Local 3888 Captain, Fred McKay, 5/14/2010
It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Pte. Kevin McKay - son of Captain Fred McKay - who was serving his country in Afghanistan. Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to Captain McKay and his family at this most difficult time. REPATRIATION DETAILS Toronto Fire Service off-duty personnel are encouraged to attend the repatriation ceremony of Canadian Forces member Kevin McKay. Kevin succumbed to injuries sustained by an I.E.D. while on tour in Afghanistan. Kevin is the son of Captain Fred McKay R133 "A" Platoon. The aircraft returning Kevin is expected to land in Trenton at 1400 hrs Sunday May 16th. The entourage is expected to arrive at the Coroners office at approximately 1630 hrs. (subject to scheduling changes) TFS personnel are encouraged to form up at station 314 for 1600 hrs. There will be parking at Queens Park. Please turn out in full dress uniform, dress cap, white shirt and gloves with medals. |
