IAFF 2007 Canadian Policy Conference, 9/01/2007
The IAFF 2007 CDN Policy conference was successful on all fronts. The Sydney Local now known as the Cape Breton Fire Fighters Local 2779 did a fantastic job hosting this conference and displaying the pride of our east coast. On behalf of the delegates and their families who attended from Ontario we thank Local 2779 for all of their efforts.
Along with numerous guest speakers eight resolutions were debated and adopted during the conference. The OPFFA's resolution regarding part F of the Misconduct and Penalties section of the IAFF's constitution was overwhelmingly supported.
